CIN·RGY IS A GLOBAL INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION COMPANY INVOLVED IN THE CREATION AND PURCHASE OF CONTENT FOR FEATURE FILM, TV SERIES, AND NEW MEDIA PLATFORMS

CIN·RGY was created out the Covid Pandemic of 2020 to capitalize on industry disruption, and favorable trends in the broader entertainment industry led by the acceleration of globalization, digitization, and the unprecedented demand for content.

We are strategically positioned to capitalize on consumer viewing preferences, to decisively pursue the best avenue of distribution for any given project, and to maximize returns.

We have improved the management of the creative process to maximize profits, addressing many of the systemic issues endemic to the independent film marketplace.

We have developed a fiscally sound production process reliant on data science to significantly increase the opportunity for financial success.

Our capital structure tackles characteristics inherent in the independent film market that undermine the relationship with the production and its investors: i.e. transparency, alignment, fees etc.

 

IN HOUSE P+A

PROMOTION & ADVERTISING (P+A) CREATES AWARENESS AND BUZZ WHICH WILL PROVIDE AN ADVANTAGE IN THE MARKETPLACE

PHASE 1: DURING PRODUCTION

Generate an early awareness campaign to increase demand by doing strategic P+A with key horror blogs, website, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and trade press well before prior to approaching the buyer’s market out to the market with buyers.

Increase awareness by strategically releasing promotional material to create sales and Festival Buzz.

PHASE 2: PRE-RELEASE

Organically develop a proper festival strategy to increase momentum going into the sales process.

When the film is completed, utilize the loyal relationships developed in Phase 1 to launch a broader social media campaign.

Offer First Looks to secure future guaranteed distribution with major studios and platforms, Pre-Buys for distribution partners to secure “negative pick-up”, and participate in Festivals & Markets for domestic & foreign distributors to compete for rights.

PHASE 3: POST-RELEASE

Increase leverage with prospective buyers, whether or not the film debuts at a festival.

Cultivate strategic communications with targeted streaming networks before the festival circuit.

 

OPTIMIZATION OF CAPITAL STRUCTURE & RISK MITIGATION

PRE-SALES • Work with a prominent director and cast at least 1 actor with star power to generate pre-sales for North American and foreign distribution. • Use ingenue cast backed by veteran talent.

DEBT FINANCING • Use debt financing collateralized by pre-sales and tax credits when practicable to reduce equity needed.

TAX CREDITS & SOFT MONEY • Shoot principal photography in high tax credit states like NY and GA. • Receive a 30 to 40% tax rebate to reduce the net cost of production. • Regional grants & subsidies qualify productions to access funds available to specific locations. • Investments go further by selecting locations where labor costs, location fees, & travel expenses are competitive.

TAX EFFICIENCY • Ensure projects are section 168 compliant to allow investors to deduct up to 100% of their investment in our film and television projects subject to passive loss rules.

CO-FINANCING • Investments designed to be shared amongst financiers to provide slate diversification opportunities of and inclusion on larger projects.
